Sahit Muja: US election: Choice between responsible leader vs Obama, the cry baby who blame others
News flash: Obama and the Democrats have controlled oil policy for the last three years with the resulting 111% increase in gas prices in three years from $1.89 the day Obama took over to $4 a gallon today.
America needs a comprehensive energy policy. Oil, natural gas, coal and nuclear production needs to be encouraged along with other forms of green energy production
President Obama wallows in his own incompetence. He blames anyone and anything for his inability to get results. He never takes responsibility for a long list of failures.
Notice how he constantly will do these "pep rally" campaign speeches in front of college kids, as they are for the most part very misguided by liberal leaning unionized teachers.
President Obama is defecting attention away from his near non-existent energy policy that has some areas of our country paying over $5 a gallon of gas.
Obama attacks GOP by repeating a news paper headline he read, stating the Republicans are "licking their chops" over the rising gas price.
Attack, blame and demonize. We have a cry baby grammar school yard President.
One of the obvious signs of true leadership, whether it be in the public or private sectors is the ability to take ownership of a problem.
That is a concept that has been lost on President Obama since day 1 in the White House. Is there any basic leadership program President Obama can go to in order to learn this basic stuff?
Mr. President blaming others for your failure is not a strategy, it's an excuse.
There is, of course, an additional element to all this that might be even more important than the price of gasoline. And that is the old-fashioned thing called "national security." Keystone would also allow strategic petroleum reserves during a prolonged disruption of our energy supplies.
We need to face the fact that the Obama and the left has tied up the nuclear, coal and fossil fuels into litigation knots that we can easily find ourselves in a strategic nightmare.
President Obama's comments clearly underscore his lack of understanding of basic economics. Drilling to increase the supply of oil, natural gas is the most effective method to reduce the cost of energy
America’s combined energy resources are, according to a report from the Congressional Research Service are the largest on the world.
The U.S has the world's largest oil shale and coal reserves. The U.S coal reserves stand at 280 billion tons, an amount that is greater than any other nation in the world capable of meeting energy domestic demand for more than 250 years.
The U.S proven natural gas reserves stand at 30 trillion cubic feet. The U.S has substantial renewable energy resources, solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy, hydro-power, and biomass.
One of the biggest drains on the U.S. economy is its dependence on foreign oil. The U.S. could stop relying on the Middle East for its oil. Hard to imagine, but with the amount of natural gas, coal, oil shale the country has, it could be a reality in the not too distant future. America desperately needs a fiscally responsible leader.
America is in desperate need of new, disciplined leadership that will do what is right for America. We need a leader who will fight for energy independence.
